The RAF Pageants, held at Hendon
between the wars, are widely accepted as being the birthplace of all formation
and team aerobatic displays.
To celebrate the 80th anniversary
of the first Hendon Pageant, we present a history of RAF display teams :
There are 91 models on the whole display, all in
1/72nd scale. They were made by 13 of our members, from four different
countries.
To help us
celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first Hendon Air Pageant and the history
of RAF aerobatic teams, we are honoured that several ex-Red Arrows Team
Leaders sent us their good wishes.
