Patrouille de France, French Air Force

Actual size : 88mm x 98mm.
Notes : This design used 1960 - 1963 and worn on the left chest, when the team were equipped with the Mystere IVa. This patch is a modern-day reproduction, but produced officially by/for the Patrouille de France team, circa 2001.
Actual size : 100mm x 110mm.
Notes : This design was used in the early days (1965 - 1970) of the Fouga Magister-equipped team, worn on the right chest. This patch is a modern-day reproduction, but produced officially by/for the Patrouille de France team, circa 2001.

Actual size : 68mm x 85mm.
Notes : This is the official/current Patrouille de France logo, introduced in 1970. It first appeared in patch form in 1971 and is worn by all the pilots and groundcrew. From 1971 to 1981 (the Fouga Magsiter-era, plus the first year of the Alpha Jet), it was worn on the right chest, but since 1982, it has been worn on the left. There are numerous variations of the patch over the years, which makes it very difficult to spot fakes/copies - but this particular one is a genuine, ex-team member's patch, from around the period 1988 - 1994.
Actual size : 90mm x 125mm.
Notes : First introduced in 1984, this Alpha Jet shoulder patch is worn by all the pilots and groundcrew on the right shoulder of their flight suits.
