Patrouille Cartouche Doré, French Air Force


Actual size : 88mm diameter.
Notes : The original team patch, with a blue background, derived from the standard Cognac "Ecole de Pilotage" patch. This was worn on the lower left chest of the team members flight suits, from 1995 or 1996.
Actual size : 88mm diameter.
Notes : Second version of the chest patch, now with a black background. First worn circa. 1999/2000, up to 2008.

Notes : Left sleeve patch, worn from 2000 to 2006.
Actual size : 100mm x 83mm.
Notes : Right sleeve/shoulder patch. First worn circa. 2002, up to mid-2009.
   
Actual size : 85mm diameter.
Notes : Chest patch, current design, 2009 - present.
Actual size : 98mm x 85mm.
Notes : Right sleeve/shoulder patch, worn from around mid-2009 to 2011.
   
Actual size : 70mm x 95mm.
Notes : Left sleeve patch, this design worn in 2010, by all the Team members.

Actual size : 80mm diameter.
Notes : Left sleeve patch, individually numbered for each pilot. This type was worn in early 2011, by the left wingman / number 3.
   
Actual size : 83mm x 83mm.
Notes : Left sleeve patch, individually numbered for each pilot. This type was worn in the latter part of 2011 to early 2012 and is the Team Leader's patch.

Actual size : 80mm diameter.
Notes : Right sleeve/shoulder patch, introduced in mid-2012, to reflect the new colour scheme on the aircraft. Worn by all the team members and although the aircraft on the patch is numbered, they are all the same - number 1 only.
   
Actual size : 70mm diameter.
Notes : New design for the 2013 season. Left sleeve patch, individually numbered for each pilot - this is for the right wingman / number 2.
